Today. Tonight. Tomorrow.

Today has been a big bore. Ryan has landed safely and is back home. So far, that has been the highlight of the day. Well, until I actually get to see him, that is. Then that will be the highlight. Okay, okay, until we go out to eat. Then that might be the highlight (just kidding, Woobie).

I had a near highlight earlier this morning when my computer died. Apparently the motherboard had some blown capacitors (That sounds so Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future, but I'm not making it up, honest) and it needed to be replace. At first I thought I was going to get to go home. I mean, being a writer and all, I can't really do anything without my computer. But, of all the times for our IT department to actually be efficient, today was the day. And they brought me a new computer in less than an hour after taking the toasted one away. So no highlight there.

Tonight will be busy. We've got our ritual Friday night dinner out. I want to vacuum out at least one of the vehicles. Plus I want to get the crib put together. It's been begging to be put together since Tuesday when we recieved it (thanks mom and dad!), but Ryan's been out of town. I thought about attempting to put it together myself, but thought better of it since it looks like there are some pretty heavy parts. Condisering I have some pretty heavy parts going on myself right now, I decided it probably wouldn't be a good idea to mess with it until Ryan got home.

Tomorrow I'm heading up to Bay City for the baby shower. We've got to get the gifts organized and put the finishing touches on the decorations. I'm thinking about trying to get a pedicure in before I go. Even if my feet look like sausages, I want them to at least look delicious.

I think I may need to do some laundry before I go, too. Hmmm. We'll see. Bye for now.
